Our nearest vineyard, merely a few miles away, produces some of the best wines in the country. The 1,000 year old estate is situated above the stunning River Dart. The estate itself is beautiful, 2 miles downstream from Totnes. The family business consists of a dairy farm with its herd of 50 Jersey cows, the creamery which creates a range of cheeses from the jersey milk, and a 14 acre vineyard & winery producing world class wines.
Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve 2003
This off- dry award winning wine has a light fresh character achieved by carefully blending the different grape varieties and partially ageing in American oak. Lovely fruit aromas with supple delicate flavours and a just oof dry style, resulting in wine ideal for drinking alone or with food. (2)

Estate Selection Dry 2001
This fine dry style exhibits the best qualities of English wine. Characterised by its pale lemon colour and long refreshing. The taste of fresh fruits gives a youthful fresh sensation with good balance and length. A great accompaniment to all seafood dishes.(1)

Sharpham Barrel Fermented Dry 2001
One of the few English wines to be fermented in new oak barriques, this wine is of limited production. Reflecting the excellent vineyard conditions in 2001, aromas and flavours are complex, balanced and give a wine that had great finesse. (1)
