Touraine Sauvignon, Chateau de la Roche 2003
The family owns one of the largest estates in the region and the mosaic of soils which make up the Touraine means that they represent most of the appellations. Chateau de la Roche is situated on the commune of Charge, on the south side of the river Loire, 4km from Amboise. A bright, pale yellow wine with notes of grapefruit and tomato leaf on the nose. In the mouth the wine is elegant, subtle, and typical of Sauvignon. (1)
